At Fei Liu Fine Jewellery, every piece tells a story. The ‘Kiss of An Angel’ earrings are a perfect example — a creation born from resilience, hope, and the desire to make a meaningful difference.
Crafted in 18ct gold with rainbow moonstone and diamonds, these winged earrings were designed in response to the devastating Los Angeles wildfires. Each mirrored earring cradles a luminous moonstone, symbolising new beginnings, hope, and quiet strength.
Recently, the earrings sold at Bonhams for US$4,864, with all proceeds donated to the Boys & Girls Club of Malibu. The donation will support youth after-school programmes, mental health services, and trauma-informed care for over 2,500 individuals affected by the Palisades Fires.
“We are incredibly grateful for Fei Liu’s generous donation. The earrings he created are beautiful and the story behind the design is powerful—a perfect tribute to the resilience of the Malibu community,” says Molly Scott, VP of Philanthropy, Boys & Girls Club of Malibu.
Designer Fei Liu reflects:
“The ‘Kiss of An Angel’ was created to honour the tenderness and strength that emerge after devastation. Knowing that its sale will support the Boys & Girls Club of Malibu gives the piece a life and purpose beyond adornment.”
The ‘Kiss of An Angel’ earrings are more than jewellery—they are a testament to the transformative power of beauty, art, and community support.
